Pregnancy and post-natal yoga in Epsom and Ewell
I teach pregnancy and post-natal/parent and baby yoga in-person in Epsom and Ewell, focusing on a supportive, inclusive, empowering and nurturing environment.
Pregnant people, I want you to feel comfortable in your body, and to make choices that benefit you throughout pregnancy and beyond. Every pregnant person is an individual experiencing a completely different journey. It’s your body and your practice: let’s find what works for you.
Post-natal/parent and baby yoga, which is for all new parents, can help you find connection with your body after birth, build confidence in movement, develop your strength, focus and flexibility, meet other people who are doing the same thing, and most importantly, have a bit of time that’s focused on you.
You can also join me online or in person for 1:1s by arrangement. I have students from Sutton, Chessington, Carshalton, Leatherhead and beyond, so please do feel free to come if you live a little further away.
PREGNANCY YOGA CLASSES
Thursdays, 7:30-8:30pm @ Webber Hall, All Saints Church, 7 Church Road, Ewell West, KT19 9QY
Friendly, fun and inclusive pre-natal class focused on reconnecting you with your body during pregnancy.
We run every week bar holiday periods, and you’re welcome at any stage of pregnancy and if you’d like to continue your practice after leaving post-natal yoga to go back to work.
In these classes, we’ll focus on a safe, development-focused mixed practice underpinned by knowledge, focusing on how the body changes, what’s safe and what you might come to expect.
We’ll bring in elements of asana (physical postures), pranayama (breath practices), yoga nidra (guided relaxation) and play around with styles.
These classes are co-taught with Yoga for everyone, making them accessible to every body, and also meaning you can bring your partner!
parent and baby yoga CLASSES
Thursdays, 10:45-11:30 @ Webber Hall, All Saints Church, 7 Church Road, Ewell West, KT19 9QY
£8 drop-in | £28 for a block of four | £50 for a block of eight
Friendly, fun and inclusive parent and baby class focused on things like confidence in movement, reconnecting you with your body post-natally and/or building community with other new parents. You do not have to have physically given birth to come - surrogacy, trans and adoption people, you’re super welcome. Bring your baby (if you want!), and stay for a cuppa and a chat afterwards.
We run every week bar holiday periods, and you’re welcome up to and after you finish maternity/paternity leave.
NB: after you’ve given birth, you should take a minimum 6-8 weeks of recovery before returning to physical practice. You must be signed off by a doctor before you can do this, as yoga teachers are not health professionals and cannot diagnose.
